ABOUT US

Friends in action.
By the children’s side.

“Friends of the Children’s Home of Limassol” is a non-governmental organisation supporting children in the government-run Children’s Home in Limassol.

The children live in the home under state custody when their family circumstances do not allow them to be cared for at home. Our role focuses on their additional needs and experiences.

Government-run children’s homes also exist in other cities. Our work supports the Children’s Home in Limassol.

Support beyond the essentials. The children’s essential needs are covered by the state. Our Association provides experiences, activities and additional opportunities. Before donating goods, please contact us to find out what is actually needed.

Their privacy comes first. The Children’s Home is the children’s living space. Their dignity and privacy must be respected. Supporting our work does not give a right to visit or have contact with the children. Contact is only permitted for approved foster parents or with authorisation from the Principal of the Home.
